Bagpipe Hygiene

There is a lot of talk on the net about a piper contracting a fungal infection of the lungs from playing bagpipes. Here is a link to the news story http://www.scotsman.com/scotland-on-sunday/scotland/bagpipe-warning-over-threat-of-fatal-fungus-1-2828835.  We have an article prepared on bagpipe hygiene, cleaning and maintaining a healthier bagpipe. We think it is important to read and hope it helps prevent any further incidents of this nature. It can be found here: http://www.schoolofpiping.com/articles.html
